Notes before visiting:
✓ Before having a session with the Electroencephalogram (EEG), do the following on the day of the EEG for preparation:
o Wash hair thoroughly with shampoo
o Avoid using hair products
o Avoid caffeine intake for 8 – 12 hours
o Limit sleep the night before the procedure to 4 – 5 hours
✓ Schedule an appointment.
✓ For Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s) or insurance card holders, bring your letter of Authorization (LOA) or call our HMO Help Desk for assistance and verifications if applicable.
